what is media studies

The study of any name, object or idea as a medium is media studies. You may contest this definition. But in this blog I reserve the right to discuss anything that can be thought of as a medium. I may talk about the microscope or the telescope and how any medium brings about a structural change in what is known as media ecology. I may connect literature with everyday news. I may discuss a lot of ordinary things from a media perspective. I may talk about Neil Postman or Marshall McLuhan. I may even talk about myself.
